There is something unsettling about not knowing exactly who you are becoming.

The figure has no face, no expression, nothing telling us who she is supposed to be. And yet, she doesn't feel empty. She feels powerful.

To me, this piece represents the space between who we were and who we are becoming. The moment when old identities, expectations, and versions of ourselves begin to fall away… but the person underneath hasn't fully revealed herself yet.

The darkness inside the hood could easily be mistaken for something frightening. But the light surrounding her changes everything. It makes the unknown feel almost sacred.

Maybe we don't always need to know exactly who we're becoming.

Maybe there is beauty in meeting ourselves slowly.

Not every darkness is something to escape. Sometimes it's where a new version of us is quietly taking shape.
