The Monsters in Our Minds

For many, mental health struggles feel exactly like this: carrying an invisible storm, with shadows and monsters that others cannot see. These “monsters” can take the form of anxiety, depression, self-doubt, or trauma, and they thrive in silence.
 
But art gives us a safe space to bring them out. By giving form to the chaos, we make it visible—and when it’s visible, it becomes less powerful. Each scribble, each line, each detail is a way of saying: This is real. This is heavy. But I am facing it.
